Austin, Tex. - Mothers Advocating Medical Marijuana for Autism (MAMMA) will be joining the annual Worldwide Marijuana March alongside the Texas chapter of NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) for the legalization and decriminalization of current medicinal cannabis laws. Starting at 4:30pm at Austin City Hall, the march will head north on Congress Avenue up to the Capitol’s South Steps, where a rally will then be held. This is MAMMA’s first attendance for this annual event, which began in New York in 1999 and has had hundreds of thousands of people participate in over 829 different cities in 72 countries worldwide.

MAMMA was founded in March 2014 by two parents whose children suffer from autism, and is focused on educating the public on the positive health benefits that cannabis therapeutics can offer for users, especially those suffering from autism.
