Austin, TX - In celebration of Mother’s Day, the conservative Christian activist group, Mothers Advocating Medical Marijuana for Autism (MAMMA) has officially launched their website and blog to educate Texans and the community at large on the health benefits of medicinal cannabis therapeutics.

Following the Annual Worldwide Marijuana March to the Texas State Capitol with Texas NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) last week, MAMMA co-founders Thalia Michelle and Amy Fawell have been interviewed by the Austin American Statesman1, WOAI radio, FOX7 News2 and were featured on a KUT segment during NPR’s3 ‘All Things Considered’ on the topic of medicinal marijuana.

Amy and Thalia both have children that suffer from autism, and are proponents of reform of current medicinal cannabis laws. Such reform would allow their children to benefit from its medicinal therapeutics including the nonpsychoactive components, cannabidiol (CBD), and TCHa.
